Motorcycle Ride Up Thorne Creeke Butte’s Backside

Last August my brother and I rode our bikes to the top of Thorne Creek Butte.

As you can see it was during fire season and a stagnant blanket of smoke refused to blow out..

We took a different route up to it this time, ultimately following forest roads 377 and 203 up from the southwest side.

After wandering around looking and snapping some pics, we continued over to Rabbit Creek summit on roads 203 and 333. From the summit we coasted back to Idaho City on 327. After about 6 hours of goofing off we were back home for the rest of the weekend. Fun!
