Earlier this summer I swapped out my worn and kinda crappy stock tires a more aggressive tread. On past bikes I’ve usually opted for a pair of Dunlop D606 tires. This time I bought a similar style from a company called Tusk. They’re relatively new and they’re manufacturing motorcycle accessories, crash bars, shift levers, luggage etc. And now they’re making tires. Here’s a few pics of the install.
Set up on a bucket for spooning the tire off the rim
Leverage and Windex gets the new one on.
I set the wheel on its axle between two jack stands and adjusted the weight until it was balanced.
